6.2 When the Emulator Debugger Does Not Start Up Properly
(1) When the LEDs of the PC7501 Shows an Error

Check that the power cable is connected to the PC7501.
See the user's manual of the PC7501.
All LEDs remain lit.

Check that the connection between the PC7501 and this
product.

Target Status POWER LED
does not light up.
Connected
Check that power is properly supplied to the user system and
that the user system is properly grounded.
Not connected
(1) Check that both the main and sub clocks of the emulator
debugger are not set to "EXT".
See the CLK command of the emulator debugger.
(2) Check that the oscillator circuit board is properly installed
in the emulator and is oscillating.
See "3.1 Selecting Clock Supply" (page 26).
Target Status CLOCK LED
does not light up.
Connected
Check that the oscillator circuit in the user system is
oscillating properly.
Target Status RESET LED
does not go out.
Connected
Check that the reset pin of the user system is pulled up.
