Question
When the WDT is used as an interval timer, is it possible generate interrupts at fixed intervals?
Answer
Yes. However, since the WDT generates only overflow interrupts*, the initial value should be
written in TCNT. Note that TCNT is always in the reset state when TME = 0.
Note: * An NMI interrupt setting can also be made in the H8S/2100 Series.
