Receiving a call
When receiving a call, the caller’s
number is displayed on the screen (this
function depends on the options you
have subscribed to with your service
provider).
If the caller’s number is in one of the
memories, the name of the caller is dis-
played instead of the number.
If the caller number cannot be dis-
played, the message “Private number”
is displayed on the screen.
Note: the hands-free system ringtone
depends on the phone model and its
mode (silent, vibrate, etc.).
Automatic call waiting
In order to make your hands-free phone
system as safe as possible, the call
waiting function is automatically acti-
vated.
When an incoming call arrives, a mes-
sage alerts your caller to the fact that
you are driving.
Automatic call waiting deactivated
When receiving a call, you can:
– reject the call by selecting “
Refuse”
or pressing and holding
18;
– place your caller on hold by selecting
“Hold”. A “caller on hold” message is
then sent to your caller;
– pick up by selecting “
Pick up” or
pressing
18;
– adjust the volume of the ringtone by
using buttons
15 and 16 or 1 when
the ringtone is active.
The automatic call waiting func-
tion allows the user to answer a call
when it is safe to do so. We recom-
mend that you activate this func-
tion.
