- The QuizManager control bar shows a yellow indicator.
- The QuizManager control bar shows a black indicator, but a NEO is connected to that location on the Cart or to the USB port on the computer.
- I have a quiz installed on some NEOs, and I have student responses that I have not yet retrieved, but I’ve accidentally erased the quiz document from my computer. Now I can’t retrieve, or even remove, the responses.

Programs You’ll Use
KeyWords RP
The KeyWords RP reporting software—accessible from the Renaissance Place
Home page—reports on students’ performance on KeyWords lessons on
NEOs. You’ll need this program installed on your Renaissance Place server.
Renaissance Place
Renaissance Place is the management program that comes with all RP
products. It lets you view and manage district, school, student, teacher,
parent, course, and class information, which is shared by all Renaissance
Place software used in your district or school. The tasks that you can perform
in this program depend on your user level. For example, district-level users
have more management tasks available than school users or teachers. Sample
tasks may include:
• Adding, editing, or deleting courses and classes, and assigning teachers and
students to them
• Choosing a different school year to work in
• Viewing student information
KeyWords SmartApplet on the NEO
The KeyWords SmartApplet on the NEO is the program students use to work
through their lessons. KeyWords RP is compatible with KeyWords 3.3 or
higher.
