- The QuizManager control bar shows a yellow indicator.
- The QuizManager control bar shows a black indicator, but a NEO is connected to that location on the Cart or to the USB port on the computer.
- I have a quiz installed on some NEOs, and I have student responses that I have not yet retrieved, but I’ve accidentally erased the quiz document from my computer. Now I can’t retrieve, or even remove, the responses.
- I have a quiz installed on some NEOs, but I have accidentally erased the quiz document from my computer and I don’t remember the Admin Password. Now I am unable to remove the quiz from the NEOs.

Using AlphaSmart Manager 2 with KeyWords

Follow these steps to change KeyWords options in AlphaSmart Manager.
These steps assume that you have started the program and connected your
NEO(s) as described in the AlphaSmart Manager 2 User Manual.
1. Click the Settings tab in AlphaSmart Manager.
2. Click KeyWords
A in the list of SmartApplets on the left as shown.
3. Make changes as needed to the settings listed on the right. (Make sure
the box is checked for each setting you’re changing.)
4. Click the Send List tab and make sure that your changes are listed.
If KeyWords isn’t in
the Settings list, one
or more of the NEOs
doesn’t have KeyWords
installed. To install it on all
connected NEOs, click the
SmartApplets tab, click
KeyWords in the list, and click
Add. Then, send the
SmartApplet to the NEOs. For
instructions, see page 1-2.

To restore all
KeyWords settings
to the defaults, click
Restore Defaults at the
bottom of the window.
