Retrieving Students’ Responses from NEOs Using
QuizManager
QuizManager makes it easy for you to retrieve students’ responses to quizzes
from the NEOs they used to take the quizzes. You can then grade the quiz
responses in QuizManager.
You can retrieve quiz responses more than once for the same quiz if
necessary. This is helpful if some students did not complete a quiz before the
end of class and they need to continue it another time.
1. Connect your NEOs to the computer, either through a SmartOption Cart
with an AlphaHub or directly with a USB cable. In QuizManager, make
sure your NEOs are connected as shown by the indicators (see
page 7-24).
2. Click Retrieve Responses in the QuizManager control bar, or click the
Communication menu and choose Retrieve Responses. On Windows
computers, you can also click in the toolbar in the QuizManager
window.
3. Find the quiz that you want to retrieve responses for and click the quiz file
to highlight it. Then, click Select. You need to select the quiz file because
QuizManager uses some information in this file to organize the data from
the NEOs. The Retrieve Responses window will appear.
