- The QuizManager control bar shows a yellow indicator.
- The QuizManager control bar shows a black indicator, but a NEO is connected to that location on the Cart or to the USB port on the computer.
- I have a quiz installed on some NEOs, and I have student responses that I have not yet retrieved, but I’ve accidentally erased the quiz document from my computer. Now I can’t retrieve, or even remove, the responses.
- I have a quiz installed on some NEOs, but I have accidentally erased the quiz document from my computer and I don’t remember the Admin Password. Now I am unable to remove the quiz from the NEOs.

Downloading and Installing QuizDesigner and QuizManager

Windows Instructions for Downloading and Installing QuizDesigner and
QuizManager
1. Go to http://www.alphasmart.com/support/downloads.html.
2. Under the NEO downloads, next to “AlphaQuiz SmartApplet System,”
click PC. If your browser allows you to choose what to do with the file,
choose to save it and choose a common location.
3. Open the .zip file and extract all files. By default, they will be extracted to
a folder called AlphaQuiz3.x.
4. Open the AlphaQuiz folder.
5. Double-click QuizDesigner Setup.exe. After the setup has been
prepared, the QuizDesigner installation Wizard will appear.
6. Click Next in the Welcome panel of the Wizard.
7. Read the license agreement. (If you prefer to read a printed copy, click
Print to print it.) Then, click I accept the terms of the license
agreement and click Next >.
8. After reviewing the installation location, click Next >.
9. Click Install. The program will be installed.
10. The computer needs to be restarted after installation. Decide whether to
restart your computer now or later and click the corresponding option;
then, click Finish.
