Printing Paused
PAUSE button was pressed.
Press the RESUME button to continue printing.
Job can also be resumed by clicking on the “Clear
Error” button in the Toolbox.
Press the CANCEL button to cancel the job and
clear the job from the computer’s print queue.
Job can also be canceled by clicking on the
“Cancel Job” button in the toolbox.
NOTE: In some cases you may need to manually
clear (delete) the documents from the driver’s
print queue.
Paper Time-Out (Out of Paper)
Toolbox =
PAPERPATH_FEED_TIMEOUT
Load Paper.
If paper is still available; check/set paper feed and
separation.
Press RESUME, to resume printing.
Tip: It is also possible to get this error if the media
jams after reaching the Paperpath Exit sensor,
and the trailing edge is still in the Entry sensor.
Change in Paper Length detected
Toolbox =
PAPERPATH_PAGE_SEQUENCE
Feed sensor has detected a change in paper
length.
This could be due to poor sheet separation
(overlapping pieces) or paper that varies in length
or a dirty/dust Feed sensor.
Clean the Feed Sensor (sensor in feed section).
Check/set paper feed and separation.
Press RESUME, to resume printing.
If problem persists call for Service;
“double_pick_percent” may need to be increased.
Ink Supply Error
Ink Tank(s) Empty
Toolbox = INK_OUT_...
Example: INK_OUT_YELLOW
Press the “Replace Ink Tanks” button in the
Toolbox and then replaced empty Ink Tank(s).
Verify that Ink Tanks are seated firmly and
latches are fully closed, before pressing the
“Continue” button.
Ink Tank(s) Missing
Toolbox = CARTRIDGE_MISSING_...
Example: CARTIRDGE_MISSING_Y
Press the “Replace Ink Tanks” button in the
Toolbox and then replaced empty Ink Tank(s).
Verify that Ink Tanks are seated firmly and
latches are fully closed, before pressing the
“Continue” button.
TIP: If problem persists the Ink Tank contacts
could be dirty/corroded (clean contacts), or the
chip on the Tank may have been damaged by
installing removing Tank without first pressing the
“Replace Ink Tanks” button. If you are sure you
followed the proper Ink Tank replacement
procedure, you should call for Service.
Printhead Not Primed
Toolbox = PRINTHEAD_UNPRIMED
Follow Printhead Priming procedures.
If you continue to have trouble; check for kinked
or pinched ink color tubes or call for Service.
