6. Interface
The DA-590 printer is equipped with a standard data communication interface. The
interface connection socket is Centronics parallel. It allows the printer to be connected
to a terminal or a computer.
Centronics parallel interface
This interface is most frequently used for connecting to a personal
computer. This interface usually requires no special instructions or
configurations for the printer or computer. The Centronics parallel
interface cable allows fast data transmission.
The parallel interface connector has a standard 36-pin Amphenol
jack with two metal clips.
