Removing the cartridge
1. Press lightly on the cartridge-
securing clip for
releasing the cartridge-from this clip.
2.
Lift the whole cartridge out so that its base is
free to move.
3. Tilt the
cartridge forwards until its nipple
touches the underside of the upper guide bar of
the runners (L).
4.
Continue to move the cartridge around this bar
and then pull it out gently.
Observe the directions on the new cartridge packet.
Replacing the cartridge
1.
Tilt the cartridge backwards until its nipple
touches the underside of the upper guide bar of
the runners (L).
2.
Continue to move the cartridge around this bar
until its base touches the underside of the bar.
3. Insert the cartridge further along the stop.
4.
Click the cartridge into place by pressing it in at
the top.
Press the “START" key:
The display shows
PRINT HEAD TEST ?
enter = YES end = NO
Resetting the ink
counter
In off-line mode, first press the “PROG” key and then the “PREV”
key.
The display shows
HEAD RESET: yes
Press the “ENTER” key twice.
Press the “END“ key to return to off-line mode. The display on the
ink counter is reset to 100%.
Press the “START“ key to return to on-line mode.

Cleaning the
ink nozzles
The ink nozzles are cleaned automatically
before every test print
after switching over from OFFLINE to ONLINE
after 50, 100, 200, 300 or 1000 addresses as required. This can be
set in programming mode by selecting “CLEANING CYCLE“ in the
“SPECIAL FUNCT.“ menu.
