4. Printing
Print cartridge
Printing is performed with a standard print cartridge. When the ink is
used up, the cartridge must be replaced.
Which cartridges
to use
“HP 51645A style” inkjet cartridges. There are many different styles to
choose from. Cartridges can be purchased from your Rena dealer.
Black HP51645A, Versatile Black C8842A, Red C6168A,
Green C6169A, Blue C6170A, Yellow C6173A
When should
the cartridge be
replaced ?
When the display (top left) reads 0%,
0% Cour12 000000
Off Exec Set1U Nor
the following message appears
NO INK !!
CHANGE PRINTHEAD
and printing is interrupted.
Removing and
replacing the
cartridge
– Press the "START" key to go into off-line mode.
– Press the "START" and “ “ keys. The cradle moves to its mid-
position.
The display shows
OK, EXCHANGE CRTRGE !
HIT START TO EXIT
To avoid any damage to the nozzle contacts, remove the cartridge as
instructed on the next page.
