Top Margin
The top margin is the spacing between the edge of the incoming
paper and the first printed line.
The default value for the margin is 0 mm.
Without selected
format size
If you select the “off” setting in the "Paper Size" menu, i.e. no
format size, then the DA608 will recognize the top margin value as
the spacing between the incoming paper edge and the first printed
line. In the address block direction "Rev", the latter will be the last
line on the page.
IMPORTANT! Please set and “local lock” the paper size.

– If you wish to set a different value, you may select a margin of 0-
280 mm in programming mode (see Sect. 5) in the "Top Margin"
menu.
You may also change the margin on a line-by-line basis with the
cursor keys:
ï key = increase top margin line by line
ð key = decrease top margin line by line
With selected
format size
When you select a specific
format size in programming mode
(see Section 5) in the "Paper Size" menu, then the top margin
value is the same for both address block directions ("Nor" and
"Rev"). It is important to set and “local lock” the “Paper Size”.
Check your print position settings by performing a print test.
