2. Operation
These instructions apply only to printers No. 1 – 143 !!
For printers numbered 201 and upwards, see “Connecting the printer“ on page 2.3 !
Power
connection
CAUTION !
Before you plug the power cable into the right-hand panel
of the printer, check that the voltage is correctly set on the
power input module.
If the setting is correct, continue to the subsection “Power cable” on
the page after the next.
Voltage selection – Disconnect power
cable !
– Open the housing lid (a)
via the slit (see arrow)
with a screwdriver or
similar tool and remove
the fuse holder.
– Pull the voltage selection
card (c) directly out of the
housing via the indicator
pin (b).

– Turn the voltage selection card until the required voltage can be
read at its lower edge.

– The indicator pin must be inserted into its groove in the card and
must point upwards.
– Slot the voltage selection card with the printed side facing the
IEC connector into the housing and align the indicator pin to the
marking on the housing.
– Replace the lid and check that the indicator pin is positioned in
the opening to show the required voltage specifications.
