eng eng 5. Faults 5.1. Fault: Electric die stock does not pull through, overload protection (10) triggers off. Cause: Remedy: ● Not original REMS quick-change die heads. ● Only use REMS quick-change die heads. ● REMS dies are blunt. ● Change REMS dies, see 2.3. ● Unsuitable thread-cutting material. ● Use REMS Spezial or REMS Sanitol thread-cutting oils. ● Worn carbon brushes. ● Have the carbon brushes or DC motor changed by qualified personnel or an authorised REMS customer service workshop.
