STEP 7
Prepare the interior lock.
Remove the battery cover from the interior of the lock by
sliding the cover upward and pulling it off.
The lever lock’s thumb turn should still be in the
horizontal, unlocked position and the tailpiece slot
should be in the vertical position.
Take a picture of the serial
number sticker on the
back of the lock. The serial
number can also be found
on the exterior of the lock’s
packaging.
