STEP 7
Prepare the interior lock.
Remove the battery cover from the interior of the lock by
sliding the cover upward and pulling it off.
Ensure the thumb turn knob is still in the unlocked
position by turning it to face away from the edge of
the door.
Take a picture of the serial
number sticker on the
back of the lock. The serial
number can also be found
on the exterior of the lock’s
packaging.
