SOUND CONTROL
1. Use the HF Trim Switch -9- to lower or raise the high frequencies by - 2 dB or by +2 dB respectively, besides the normal position (0 dB).
This is very useful when using your passive monitors in larger rooms for example.
2. Use the Acoustic Space Switch -10- to adjust your speakers according to the set-up in the room (0 dB, -2 dB, -4 dB) since the acoustic pressure
in the low-frequency range is increased from the reection of adjacent surfaces. Distorted reproduction caused by positioning in corners or
near walls can be copensated this way.
3. Use the LF Cutoff Switch -11- to either fade the low-range frequency below 60 Hz, or 80 Hz or to bring it in the “Flat” position. This is very
useful when, for example, you intend to simulate the sound on a less bass-heavy speaker system or you are using an additional subwoofer or
want to suppress rumble noise.
