TX Time Out Timer
The TX Time Out Timer Limits the length of transmissions to the
programmed time.

1. With 'TX TOT' highlighted, press the 'ENT'
button.
2. Use the up/down buttons to select the
desired transmission time Limit. (0 - 225
seconds. Zero seconds = No Time Out Time.)
3. Press the 'ENT' button to set the selection.
4. Press the 'ESC' button to return to the
Global Programming menu.

1. With 'Bklight Mode' highlighted, press the
'ENT' button.
2. Use the up/down buttons to highlight the
desired Backlight setting.
Off = No Backlight.
Keypress = Display and keypad light whenever
the keypad is used.
Display Chan = Display and keypad light
whenever displayed information changes
Both = Display and keypad light whenever
displayed information changes or the keypad
is used.
3. Press the 'ENT' button to set the selection.
4. Press the 'ESC' button to return to the
Global Programming menu.

desired Backlight Time Limit. (1 - 6 seconds,
Off or Always On)
3. Press the 'ENT' button to set the selection.
4. Press the 'ESC' button to return to the
Global Programming menu.

It is recommended that Battery Saver be used for normal radio
operation.
