Placing an Emergency Call

To place an emergency call, press and hold the
programmed emergency button until the radio beeps
and the display ashes “EMERGENCY”.
Radio automatically sends the emergency signal on the
pre-programmed emergency channel.
While in the emergency mode, the top display line will
alternate between "Emergency" and the programmed
line information. Each PTT will re-send the emergency
notication.
To return to normal operation press and hold the
Emergency button or cycle radio power.

When receiving an emergency call, the radio will beep.
The the display will ash the word “Emergency” and the
P25 ID of the radio sending the signal for the duration
of the reception, and during any hold time. The RX icon
will also be lit.
If programmed, the radio will emit an audible alert tone.
