B.1 Windows HyperTerminal Communications Setup
Open the Windows HyperTerminal application (accessible from Start->All Programs-
>Accessories->Communications->HyperTerminal).
Upon first use of HyperTerminal, a “Location Information” window of the form shown in
Figure B-1 will appear.

Simply enter anything in the area code box and click OK (this screen is not relevant for our
work as we will not be using a modem).
