6.4.2 Variations
• A set of 9 pre-defined variations is presented. Click any one to see the effect immediately.
• Click the Revert button to cancel.
• A drop-down list offers the option of adjusting the Highlight Midtone or Shadow.
• Under the top centre thumbnail, the plus sign expands the original picture, to see the effect of
any adjustment on a small portion of it.
• Adjustments can be saved under a name of your choice, and recalled later in the Setting drop-
down list, bottom left. Saved Settings can also be deleted.

6.4.3 Colour Balance
Brightness, Contrast and Saturation can be adjusted by a slider, or by inputting a numerical offset,
preceded with a minus sign if required.
The Colour Balances Cyan – Red, Magenta – Green and Yellow – Blue can be adjusted in the
same way.
The left image shows the original, the right image shows the effects of the adjustments. Settings
can be saved, recalled and deleted as described in section 6.4.2.
