1-1/8” Box or End Wrenches or socket
1. Check all the boxes for all the components listed in Figure 1 and become familiar with component terminology.
2. Locate the “dimple” in the depression in the middle of the truck bed. Using the 3 ½” hole saw, cut a hole in the
location shown in Figure 7 below. If there are no dimples in your bed, measure from the rear of the bed forward
46-3/8”. Find the center of the bed by measuring between the fender wells or a weld seam that is visible on both
sides of the bed. Drill a 3-1/2” hole at this location.
