Programming for full-throttle and neutral positions
The boat controller has an automatic learning function. Proceed as follows to program the neutral and full-
throttlepositions:
• Disconnectthebatterypackfromtheboatcontroller.
• Turnonthetransmitterandmovethethrottlelevertothefull-throttleposition.
• Connectthebatterypackwiththeboatcontroller.Waittwoseconds,thenthemotorwillbeeptwice(the
beep comes from a short activation of the Brushless motor). The full-throttle position is stored.
• Nowmovethethrottlelevertotheneutralorminimumposition.Themotorbeepsagainandtheprogram-
ming is concluded.
If you wait too long before moving the lever to the neutral or minimum position, the programming
mode will be started.
Then you need to unplug the battery pack from the boat controller and begin the learning process
again as described above.
If the programming cannot be performed as described above, check the reverse setting for the
drive function on the transmitter.

Description of the functions:
Theadjustablevaluesofeachfunctionarelistedinthetablebelow.
The boat controller’s basic settings have a grey background.
Function #1: Motor brake
If the transmitter’s throttle lever is moved from the forward to the neutral position, the motor brake is activa-
ted. The function corresponds to brakes in a real car, when you take your foot from the accelerator, but does
not apply the brakes.
Function #2: Battery type
Here you can set which kind of battery pack is connected to the boat controller

Function #4: Boat controller is returned to factory settings (reset)
Here there are no different values/settings.
If a reset is made, then the boat controller has the settings marked in grey in the table below.

Function #5: Motor Timing
Whenyouchangethissettingyouinuencetherunningcharacteristicsofthemotor(similartotheignition
advance of an internal combustion motor). A lower value means that the motor, related to its basic setting
hasgreatertorqueandaslightlylowermaximumrotationalspeed.Ahighervaluemeansthatthemotorhas
ahighermaximumrotationalspeedandslightlylowertorque.
Inbothcases,however,youchangethecurrentvalues.Forthisreasonmotorspecicationsareimportant.If
in doubt, you should always choose the setting “Auto”.
Function #6: Motor rotational direction
Itmaybenecessarytoreversethemotor’srotationaldirectionforagivenmodelboatormotor/gearbox/
ship’s screw. Rather than changing the programming, as an alternative, two of the three cables between the
boat controller and the motor can be switched; this also changes the rotational direction of the motor.
