c) Binding the Transmitter with Race Copter
The transmitter uses a 2.4 GHz transmission frequency and achieves a transmission range of up to approx.
60 metres, depending on the environment and ambient conditions.

d) Video transmission channels
The race copter can transmit a 5.8 GHz video signal to a compatible FPV-monitor (not included). You need an FPV-
monitor for video transmission. The following table shows suitable channels with relevant DIP switch (S1 - S5) settings.
Setting S1 S2 S3 S4=ON, S5=ON S4=OFF, S5=ON S4=ON, S5=OFF

The DIP switches are situated at the bottom of the race copter below the battery compartment. DIP switch no. 6
is having no function. Follow the above table for DIP switches 1 - 5 to adjust the video transmission frequency, if
necessary. For position of DIP switches see Fig. 2.
e) Race timer function
The other DIP switch line with switches 1 - 3 are for the race timer address code setting as per table below:

The race timer signal will be transmitted with an IR-signal. The transmission range is 1.5 m. The IR-emitter is situated
at the top of the race copter. See Fig. 3.
