e) Checking the rudder settings
• First, put the transmitter into operation and then switch
onthereceiverinstallation(seegure8,pos.3)withthe
function switch.
Once you turn on the receiver installation, the
drive engine is not yet ready for operation. You
canrststarttheenginewhenthesafetybutton
is pushed while the receiver installation is on
(seegure8,pos.6).
• Slidethetrimsliderfortheelevatorandnunit(seeg-
ure 2, pos. 3 and 5) into central position and check the
positionoftherudderapsonthetailunit.
• If the elevator unit (1) is angled slightly upwards or
downwards, detach the fork head from the rudder horn
(seegure5,pos.5)andadjusttherequiredlengthof
the link rods by twisting the fork head.
• Thelinkrodofthenunit(2)hastobeadjustedaccordingtothesameschemeliketheelevatorunitifrequired.
Practicalyingtips:
Youcanbestseeaslantoftherudderaps(1and2)ofyoulookatthemodelfrombehindatadistance.
f) Checking the rudder functions
• First start running the transmitter then the model. The safety button for the motor function may not be operated to
prevent accidental start-up.
• Ifyoupullthecontrolstickfortheelevatorandthenunitdownwards,theelevatorunitmustdeectupwards.In
ight,thelandinggearispresseddownwardsandthemodelascends.
If the elevator reacts opposite to the function described above, you may change the direction of the elevator servo with
thereverseswitch(seegure2,pos.7).Thereisaseparateswitchforeachcontrolchannel.Theelevatordirectionis
switched with the 2nd switch from the left (CH2).
