e) Checking the rudder settings
• First, put the transmitter into operation and then switch
onthereceiverinstallation(seegure8,pos.3)withthe
function switch.
Once you turn on the receiver installation, the
drive engine is not yet ready for operation. You
canrststarttheenginewhenthesafetybutton
is pushed while the receiver installation is on
(seegure8,pos.6).
• Slidethetrimsliderfortheelevatorandnunit(seeg-
ure 2, pos. 3 and 5) into central position and check the
positionoftherudderapsonthetailunit.
• If the elevator unit (1) is angled slightly upwards or
downwards, detach the fork head from the rudder horn
(seegure5,pos.5)andadjusttherequiredlengthof
the link rods by twisting the fork head.
• Thelinkrodofthenunit(2)hastobeadjustedaccordingtothesameschemeliketheelevatorunitifrequired.
Practicalyingtips:
Youcanbestseeaslantoftherudderaps(1and2)ofyoulookatthemodelfrombehindatadistance.
f) Checking the rudder functions
• First start running the transmitter then the model. The safety button for the motor function may not be operated to
prevent accidental start-up.
• Ifyoupullthecontrolstickfortheelevatorandthenunitdownwards,theelevatorunitmustdeectupwards.In
ight,thelandinggearispresseddownwardsandthemodelascends.
If the elevator reacts opposite to the function described above, you may change the direction of the elevator servo with
thereverseswitch(seegure2,pos.7).Thereisaseparateswitchforeachcontrolchannel.Theelevatordirectionis
switched with the 2nd switch from the left (CH2).
