e) Mounting and conguring the turn ns
Turnnsaremountedtotherearofthemodelboatontheleftandright-handsides(g.1,positionA).Theturnns
canbeadjustedtoseveraldifferentpositions.Theturnnsaretobemountedinawaythattheirsharpedgesshould
pointforwardsinthedirectionoftravel.Themountedturnnsenhancethemodelboat’sabilitytoturn.
Aftermounting/adjustingtheturnns,securethescrewswiththelocknutstopreventthemfrombecoming
loose.
A number of factors can affect how the model boat turns. For example the weight of the model boat, the location of
the battery and/or the water conditions (e.g. many or few waves) can affect how the model boat turns. It is therefore
notpossibletoprovideconcreteinstructionsonhowtoconguretheturnns.Testthemodelboatseveraltimesuntil
youndtheoptimalposition.

Thefrontedgesoftheturnnsarerazor-sharpandmaycauseseriousinjuriesand/ordamagetoproperty
when handled, transported or used carelessly.
f) Attaching the bumper
The included rubber bumper must be attached to the front of the model boat before you use the model boat for the
rsttime.Attachthebumpertotheboatfrontasshowning.2.Thenoseofthebumpershouldclickintotheholes
on the hull.

g) Assembling the boat stand
The boat comes with a plastic stand that must be assembled
beforeyouusethemodelboatforthersttime.Assemble
theboatstandasshowning.3.
We recommend that you always use the stand for storing
the model boat and for preparing to carry out maintenance
andrepairwork.Thestandkeepstherudder,turnnsand
propeller securely off the ground to prevent them from being
damaged.
