e) Mounting and conguring the turn ns
Turnnsaremountedtotherearofthemodelboatontheleftandright-handsides(g.1,positionA).Theturnns
canbeadjustedtoseveraldifferentpositions.Theturnnsaretobemountedinawaythattheirsharpedgesshould
pointforwardsinthedirectionoftravel.Themountedturnnsenhancethemodelboat’sabilitytoturn.
 Aftermounting/adjustingtheturnns,securethescrewswiththelocknutstopreventthemfrombecoming
loose.
A number of factors can affect how the model boat turns. For example the weight of the model boat, the location of
the battery and/or the water conditions (e.g. many or few waves) can affect how the model boat turns. It is therefore
notpossibletoprovideconcreteinstructionsonhowtoconguretheturnns.Testthemodelboatseveraltimesuntil
youndtheoptimalposition.

 Thefrontedgesoftheturnnsarerazor-sharpandmaycauseseriousinjuriesand/ordamagetoproperty
when handled, transported or used carelessly.
f) Attaching the bumper
The included rubber bumper must be attached to the front of the model boat before you use the model boat for the
rsttime.Attachthebumpertotheboatfrontasshowning.2.Thenoseofthebumpershouldclickintotheholes
on the hull.

g) Assembling the boat stand
The boat comes with a plastic stand that must be assembled
beforeyouusethemodelboatforthersttime.Assemble
theboatstandasshowning.3.
We recommend that you always use the stand for storing
the model boat and for preparing to carry out maintenance
andrepairwork.Thestandkeepstherudder,turnnsand
propeller securely off the ground to prevent them from being
damaged.
