• Ifthemodelboatstopsworkingandstartstooatacrossthewater,donotendangeryourselforothers
when attempting to retrieve it from the water.
Do not take any risks when attempting to retrieve the model boat from the water. Watch out for currents
andotherboattrafcinthebodyofwater.Ifnecessary,useanaidtoretrievethemodelboatfromthe
water (e.g. rowing boat). Never attempt to retrieve the model boat by yourself. Ask someone to stay on
shore so that they can rescue you in the event of an emergency.
• Neverpointthetransmitterantennadirectlyatthemodelboat,asthissignicantlyimpairstransmission
between the transmitter and the model boat.
• The motor, speed controller and battery may heat up when the model boat is in use. For this reason,
allow the model boat to cool down for 5 - 10 minutes before recharging the battery or replacing it with a
spare battery. Allow the motor to cool down to room temperature.
• Always leave the remote control (transmitter) turned on when the model boat is in use. After use, discon-
nect the battery or turn the model boat off before switching off the remote control (transmitter).
• In the event of a fault or malfunction, establish the cause of the problem before using the model boat
again.
• Do not expose the model boat or the remote control to direct sunlight or excessive heat for prolonged
periods.
