j) Exit Programming Mode
In this menu item, you can leave programming mode.
Theightcontrollersignalsthesettingoptionswithanendlessloop.Itwillstartwiththerstprogramitem"Motor
brake"inprogrammingmodeandthenautomaticallyswitchesthroughallprogramitemstothelastmenuitem"Fac-
tory settings".
Beforerestartingwiththerstmenuitem,twolongsignalsoundswilldisplaythefunction"Exitprogrammingmode".
Choosing this program item will leave programming mode. Set the control lever for the motor control to the rear posi-
tion for this (motor off).
Programmingmodeisleftandtheightcontrollerisreadyforoperationafterinitialisation.
k) Protective Devices
Theightcontrollerhasatemperaturemonitorthatreducestheoutputwhenapprox.110°Cisreached.
In that case, check the correct function of the drive (e.g. programming of the motor timing, correct size of propeller;
correctcellnumberoftheightbattery,etc.)andremovethecause.
A start-up protection is integrated additionally. If the motor does not start up within two seconds in spite of the control
signal from the transmitter being correct, the power supply to the motor will be interrupted. Then switch the control
leverforthemotorcontrolto"Motoroff",disconnecttheightbatteryandremovethecause(e.g.motorshaftcaught
due to dirt, etc.). In that case, you need to completely pull out the control lever for the motor control after removal of
the cause and restart.
Ifitlosesthecontrolsignalforapprox.onesecondinight,theightcontrollerwillreducethepower.Ifthecontrolsig-
nalislostformorethantwoseconds,thepowersupplytothemotorwillbeinterruptedentirely.Findthecause(aerial
ofthereceiverdamagedand/orplacedincorrectly;batteriesinthetransmitterat)andremoveitbeforeyingagain.
l) Warning Signals
• Doublesound ("beep-beep")everysecond:Rechargeablebatteryvoltagenotcorrect.Checktherechargeable
battery and the plug system.
• Doublesound("beep-beep")everytwoseconds(slowrhythm):Nocorrectcontrolsignalpresent.Checktheremote
control for correct function.
• Doublesound("beep-beep")every0.25seconds(veryfastrhythm):Thecontrolleverisnotcorrectlysetto"Motor
off". Check the position of the motor control lever.
• Thereisamelodyfollowedbyadoublesound:Theightcontrollerisinprogrammingmode.Thecontrolleverfor
themotorcontroliseitherintheposition"Fullthrottle"orthefunction"ServoReverse"forthemotorcontrolhas
been actuated at the transmitter.
Ifthemotordoesnotsendanysignals,eithertheplugsystemisdamaged(nocontact)and/ortheight
batteryisat.
Ifthemotorisrunninginthewrongdirection,theplugsbetweenthemotorandtheightcontrollerare
swapped. To reverse the rotating direction, swap two connection cables with each other.
