10. Operation of the Model Helicopter
a) Charging the Flight Battery
TheightbatteryinthehelicoptercanberechargedviathetransmitterortheincludedUSBcable.Thechargetimeis
approx.40to50minutes,dependingonremainingightbatterycharge.
Charging via transmitter:
Ensure that remote control and helicopter are switched off
(also see section "Switching on the Helicopter").
The charge cable chute is on the rear of the holding grip for
thelefthand.(seealsogure1,item9).
Push the cover of the charge cable chute (1) downwards
and remove the charge cable (2).
Connect the round plug connector (3) to the charging
socket (4) of the helicopter. The charging socket is at the
bottom of the helicopter right next to the function switch
(5).
Then switch on the transmitter. Push the pitch lever all the
way up once and then back to the bottom-most position.
TheLEDoftheoperatingindicator(alsoseegure1,item
2) is lit red and indicates charging.
Once the operating control indicator lights up green, charg-
ing is complete. The charge cable can be disconnected
from the helicopter and stowed in the transmitter again.
Attention!
Never leave the model helicopter unsupervised
and disconnect it from the transmitter after
charging is complete.
Use only normal batteries for the transmitter.
Do not use rechargeable batteries!
Therechargeablebatteryofthehelicopterotherwisecannotbeorcanonlybeinsufcientlychargeddueto
thetoolowvoltageinthetransmitter(batteries=1.5V/cell,rechargeablebatteries=1.2V/cell)!Theight
duration will be very short in this case.
