8. Assembling the Model
Before assembling the model, please read each individual section carefully. The construction stages are
illustrated for better understanding.
Pleasenotethatthenumbersinthetextalwaysrefertothecomponentsintheillustrationtotheright.
Fordesignandcolourofyourmodelandtheremotecontrol,usetheillustration,e.g.onthepackagingfor

Only carry out the steps described in the different sections if you have completely understood the proce-
dureandknowexactlywhattoobserve.
a) Mounting the Elevators and Rudders
Important!
Forreasonsofstability,theelevatorandruddermustbepermanentlygluedtogether.Thetailunitthenmust
begluedtothefuselagermlyaswell.
Theaccuracyofthisworkconsiderablyinuencestheightproperties.
Try placing the rudder (1) in the intended slot in the eleva-
tor (2).
Imprecisetsshouldbecarefullycorrectedwithacutter
knifeand/ornesandpaper.Observethatremovalofthe
protectivelmofthedouble-sidedadhesivetapeprovides
a little more clearance to facilitate assembly. Also check
ifinstallationata90°angleispossibleeasily(gure2).
If everything is perfect, the elevator and rudder must be
gluedtogetherwith5-minuteepoxy-resinglue.
Apply a little glue to the left and right of the elevator slot.
Remove the protective foil from the rudder and push the
two parts together.
Fasten the two parts with adhesive tape until the glue
cures so that the 90°-angle is complied with. Adhesive
residue must be removed at once.
Then the tail unit (3) must be glued to the fuselage (4) with
5-minuteepoxy-resin.
Try placing the tail unit (3) into the intended slot at the fu-
selage (4).
