8. Assembling the Model
Before assembling the model, please read each individual section carefully. The construction stages are
illustrated for better understanding.
 Pleasenotethatthenumbersinthetextalwaysrefertothecomponentsintheillustrationtotheright.
 Fordesignandcolourofyourmodelandtheremotecontrol,usetheillustration,e.g.onthepackagingfor
reference.Designandcolourdeviationsintheseoperatinginstructionsarepossible.Theguresinthese
operating instructions service illustrative purposes only.
Only carry out the steps described in the different sections if you have completely understood the proce-
dureandknowexactlywhattoobserve.
a) Mounting the Elevators and Rudders
Important!
 Forreasonsofstability,theelevatorandruddermustbepermanentlygluedtogether.Thetailunitthenmust
begluedtothefuselagermlyaswell.
 Theaccuracyofthisworkconsiderablyinuencestheightproperties.
Try placing the rudder (1) in the intended slot in the eleva-
tor (2).
Imprecisetsshouldbecarefullycorrectedwithacutter
knifeand/ornesandpaper.Observethatremovalofthe
protectivelmofthedouble-sidedadhesivetapeprovides
a little more clearance to facilitate assembly. Also check
ifinstallationata90°angleispossibleeasily(gure2).
If everything is perfect, the elevator and rudder must be
gluedtogetherwith5-minuteepoxy-resinglue.
Apply a little glue to the left and right of the elevator slot.
Remove the protective foil from the rudder and push the
two parts together.
Fasten the two parts with adhesive tape until the glue
cures so that the 90°-angle is complied with. Adhesive
residue must be removed at once.
Then the tail unit (3) must be glued to the fuselage (4) with
5-minuteepoxy-resin.
Try placing the tail unit (3) into the intended slot at the fu-
selage (4).
