7. Information on Batteries and Rechargeable Batteries
Although use of batteries and rechargeable batteries in everyday life is a matter of course today,
there are many dangers and problems.
In particular in LiPo/LiIon batteries with high energy content (as compared to conventional NiCd or
NiMH batteries), various provisions must be complied with to avoid danger of explosion and re.
Therefore, always observe the following information and safety notes in handling of batteries and
rechargeable batteries.
• Keep batteries/rechargeable batteries out of the reach of children.
• Do not leave any batteries/rechargeable batteries lying around openly. There is a risk of batteries being
swallowed by children or pets. In this case, see a doctor immediately!

• Recharge the rechargeable batteries about every 3 months. Otherwise, deep discharge may result,
rendering the rechargeable batteries useless.
