The opening on the hull must be kept clean, otherwise the water cooling system will not function properly, and the drive
components may overheat and become damaged. This will void the warranty.
Do not use the model boat if the tubes are blocked, kinked or damaged, otherwise the water cooling system
will not function properly.
Carefully place the boat into the water and ensure that it is level. Make sure that the rudder and propeller are above
the ground and that the propeller can spin freely.
Gently pull the throttle lever in the direction of the handle. The boat will start to move forwards. To change the direction
of travel, move the steering wheel on the remote control left or right as desired.
The battery life is approximately 8 to 9 minutes. Bring the boat back to the edge of the water before the battery runs
out. Open the hull and disconnect the battery. Switch off the remote control and check whether any water has leaked
into the boat. If so, drain the water immediately by turning the hull. Do not allow the draining water to come into contact
with the remote control and drive components.
It is normal for small amounts of water (max. 5 ml) to enter the model. Always ensure that any water is emptied after
each use.
Leave the motor and speed controller to cool down to the ambient temperature after use. Wait for 5–10 minutes before
using the boat again. Leave the hull open to allow the components to cool down more quickly.
Practical tips:
If the amount of water that leaks into the boat starts to increase, this usually indicates that there is no
lubricant left in the shaft. If this occurs, the shaft may need to be lubricated; dismount it before lubricating if
required. Refer to the instructions in section 12.
IfthespeedcontrollerturnsoffthemotorunexpectedlyandtheredLEDisashingonthereceiver,thisindicates
that the speed controller is not receiving a signal from the receiver. Establish the cause of the problem (the receiver
antenna may be wet or hidden inside the hull) and take appropriate action.
