j) Landing the helicopter
The model helicopter can be landed in two ways. Before landing, ensure that there are no obstacles under the model
that may hit the helicopter during the landing process.
1. Pressthestart,landingandmotorstopbutton(seegure1,position7).Thealtitudeisautomaticallyreduceduntil
the helicopter lands. The rotor motors are switched off automatically after landing.
2. Movethealtitudelever(seegure1,position8)tothelowestposition.Thealtitudeisautomaticallyreduceduntil
the helicopter lands. Wait until the rotor motors switch off and move the lever back into the neutral position.
11. Maintenance and cleaning
Clean the exterior of the model and the remote control with a soft, dry cloth or brush. Never use abrasive cleaning
agents or chemical solutions, as these may damage the surface of the housing.
a) Replacing the rotor blades
The rotor blades may be damaged if they hit an object when they are rotating. If this occurs, the defective rotor blades
must be replaced.
Important!
Donotythehelicopteriftherotorbladesaredamaged,asthismayresultinvibrationsthatcausefurther
damage to the model.
Ensure that the main rotor blades are inserted in the correct orientation.
The rotor blades for the upper rotor (1) rotate anticlock-
wise when viewed from above, and the rotor blades for the
lower rotor (2) rotate clockwise.
Do not overtighten the screws on the rotor blade holders.
