17. Maintenance and Care
a) General
Clean the exterior of the model and the remote control only with a soft, dry cloth or brush. Never use abrasive cleaning
agents or chemical solutions as these could damage the surfaces of the casings.
The propellers must move smoothly and the motor shafts must neither be bent nor have any play in their bearings.
Propellers that are torn, snapped off or where small parts have broken off must always be replaced.
b) Replacing the Propellers
The propellers (1) are only pushed onto the motor shafts
(2) and can be gently pushed upwards off of the shaft with
the enclosed disassembly tool (2).
Ensure that the motor shaft (3) is not bent when pulling
it off.
When selecting the new propeller, observe its rotating di-
rection. The propeller and the motor arms are marked with
the corresponding index letters A or B (also see î‚¿gure 5).
The new propeller (4) is pushed not the motor shaft
straight from above and gently pushed on to the stop.
Important!
Do not apply any unnecessary force or unsuit-
able tools.
When replacing mechanical parts use only original spares available from the manufacturer. The spare parts list is
located on our website www.conrad.com in the download section for the respective product.
You can also order the replacement parts list by phone. For contact information, please refer to the top of these
instructions in the chapter 1.
