Thisfunctionenablesyoutopreventblockingofthewheelswhenbrakingbymeansofautomaticpulsing(openingand
closingofbrakes).Thisenablesyoutomaintaincontrolofthemodelevenwhenbrakingheavily.
“Brake return”:
Hereyouspecifytowhatextentthebrakeisopenedforeachimpulse.At100%,thebrakeopensfullyandthebrake
servoreturnstotheneutralpositionaftereachimpulse.Avalueof0%,ontheotherhand,deactivatesthe“A.B.S.
function”.
“Delay”:
Here,youcansetatimedelaybetweenthetriggeringofthe“A.B.S.”andtheapplicationofthebrakingforce.Avalue
of0%signiesnodelay,avalueof100%representsadelayofaround2seconds.
“Cycle length”:
Here,thedurationofanA.B.S.brakinginterval(brakeclosed,brakeopened)canbedetermined.Avalueof20%
signiesroughly100ms,avalueof100%representsaround500ms.
“Trigger point”:
Here,youcansetatriggerpointforthe“A.B.S.function”.Thehigherthevaluethatisset,thelaterthe“A.B.S.”is
activated.Avalueof100%meansthatthe“A.B.S.function”isonlyactivatedunderfullbraking.
“Duty cycle”:
Here,youcansettherelationshipbetweenaclosedandopenbrakeduringan“A.B.S.brakinginterval”.Ifyouchoose
thesetting“0”,thecontrolpulsesfor“closed”and“open”brakesarethesame.Ifyousetpositivevalues,thecontrol
pulses for “closed brake” are shortened at the ratio to “opened brake”.
