15.8 “Throttle neutral” function
Thisfunctionallowsyoutospecifythebehaviouroftheaccelerator/
brake lever close to the neutral position.
“Forward”:
Thisdenesthepointatwhichthemodelstartstoacceleratewhen
theaccelerate/brakeleverisoperated.
“Dead zone”:
Thisisusedtodenethemagnitudeoftheneutralpositioninwhich
theaccelerator/brakeleverdoesnotcauseareaction.
“Backward”:
Thisdenesthepointatwhichthemodelstartstobrakewhenthe
accelerate/brakeleverisoperated.
Select the parameter to be changed. Slide the regulator to the right
orlefttochangethevaluetosuityourrequirements.Tapthe“Back”
button to save the new values and return to the previous menu.
Example:
Setavalueof20%for“Forward”andavalueof10%for“Backward”.Changethevalueof100%for“Deadzone”.
Withthissetting,youwillndthatthereisnoreactionofthethrottleservointheareaofthecentrepositionofthe
throttle lever.
Ifyouexceedtheareaselectedinthedisplay,e.g.,bypushingonthethrottle(pullthethrottlelevertowardsthegrip)
towardsthe“DeadZone”,thethrottleservoadjuststothesetvalue.Releasethethrottleleveragain(throttleleveris
intheneutralposition),thethrottleservoremainsonthevaluesetfor“Forward”(e.g.20%)untilyouhaveexceeded
thepointofthe“Deadzone”bypushingthethrottleleveratthetransmittertowardsthebrake.Ifyoureturnthethrottle
levertotheneutralposition,thethrottleleverremainsonthevaluesetfor“Backward”(intheexample:10%).
