15.5 “Steering exponential” function
Thisfunctionenablesyoutoinuencethesensitivityofthesteering.
Indoingso,thelinearpathbetweenthecontrollerandtheservois
modiedtoanon-linear(exponential)path.Amoresensitivecontrol
about the neutral position is thus possible. The maximum control
pathisnotmodiedwhendoingthis.
“Exp.”:
Thevaluethatcanbesetis-100%to100%,wherebythevalue0%
correspondstolinearcontrol.Amodicationofthesetvaluealways
affectsbothsidesoftheservoendpointequally.
Negativevaluesleadtostrongerservodeectionsinthe
centre positions.
“Rate”:
Here,theangleofthecurveisset.Thevaluethatcanbesetforthe
angleofthecurvedis0%to100%.Thesmallertheincrease,the
smaller the steering end point.
Selectthe“Activate”button.Then,selecttheparametertobechan-
ged. Slide the regulator to the right or left to change the value to suit
yourrequirements.Selectthe“Activate”buttontosavethecurrent
value. Tap the “Back” button to return to the previous menu.
15.6 “Steering speed” function
This function allows you to coordinate the speed of the steering
servo to suit your model.
“Turn speed”:
Thevaluethatcanbesetfortheturnspeedis0%to100%.
“Return speed”:
Thevaluethatcanbesetforthereturnspeedis0%to100%.The
values in the LC display are displayed in real time. The red bar
symbolisesthepositionofthesteeringwheel,thegreenbarinthe
position of the steering servo.

Select the parameter to be changed. Slide the regulator to the right
