Removetheshaftonaregularbasis.Detachthearminthehull(seegure11),andthenpulltheshaftoutofthe

back of the boat. Clean the shaft and lubricate it with a thin layer of biodegradable lubricant (C). Replace the shaft by

following the above steps in the reverse order.

 Metalscrewconnectionsmustbesecuredwithlocknutsoradropofthread-lockinguidtopreventthem

from becoming loose.
