or USB cigarette lighter (not included) to power the USB charger. This must be able to deliver an output current of at
least 1000 mA.
Alternatively, you can also use a USB port on a computer or USB hub that can deliver a current of 1000 mA (refer to
the device's operating instructions for details).
A standard USB 1.1/2.0 port delivers a current of of up to 500 mA, and a USB 3.0 port delivers a current of
up to 900 mA. The actual current may vary depending on the device. If in doubt, do not connect the USB
charger, as an excessive current may damage the computer or the USB hub.
Insert the USB plug on the USB charger into the USB power supply (e.g. a USB power adapter). The charging LED
indicator on the USB charger will turn on.
Insert the small connector on the USB charger into the corresponding 3-pin socket on the rechargeable battery.
Ensure that you insert the connector in the correct orientation (align the connector with the socket on the battery).
Charging will begin provided that the battery is not defective (high impedance/disconnected) and the charger is con-
nected to a power supply. The red LED indicator on the charger will turn on to indicate that the battery is charging.
