10. Commissioning of the Racecopter

a) Charging the Flight Battery

When charging,always remove the ight battery

from the model in order to prevent shape distortion

of the plastic parts if the components heat up.

Connecttheplug-inmainsadapter(gure5,item

1) to the corresponding round socket of the LiPo

charger.

The connection cable of the mains adapter is

wound upat delivery. Before rst use,the cable

retainer must be opened and the cable unwound.

TheredLEDattheLiPocharger(seegure5,item

6) indicates proper power supply.

Then connect the 4-pin balancer plug (1) to the cor-

responding socket (2) of the LiPo charger.

The 2-pole connection cable with the XT60 plug is

not required for charging. Later on, you connect the

rechargeable battery to the model with this cable.
