Nod trimming
If the racecopter tries to drift forward, reduce the speed
until the racecopter is standing safely on its landing
struts again. Now push the trim button for the nodding
function(alsoseegure21)downortowardsyourbody
several times.
Push the pitch stick carefully forward and check if the
adjustment was sufcient. Repeat the procedure until
the model does not show any tendency to drift forward.
If the racecopter tries to drift backwards, push the trim
button for the nodding function up or away from your
body.
Pitch trimming
The trim button for the pitch function (see gure 22)
should remain set in the middle position.
Otherwise, it is possible that the electronic system in
the racecopter does not recognise the bottom position
ofthe control stick for thepitch functionproperly; the
installed protective voltage will then prevent the motors
from starting up.
