You can recognise the programme item "Factory settings" by a double reducing melody followed by a high sound (8).
Remember that you have to switch on the motor brake again after restoring the factory settings!
f) Motor Timing (9 + 10 + 11)
Thissettinginuencesmotorrunningcharacteristics(similartoearlyignitionofacombustionengine).Youhavethe
following setting options: "Auto" (automatic), "Low" (low = 7° to 22°) and "High" (high = 22° to 30°). We recommend
always using the setting "Auto".
Changing motor timing changes very many parameters, including the power values. Therefore, also observe compli-
ancewiththemotorandightcontrollerspecications.Alsoobservethetemperaturesofthecomponentsnamedin
operation.
If you do not have the corresponding specialist know-how and matching measuring equipment, we recommend the
setting "auto". In this setting, the best setting used for the motor is automatically set.
"Auto" (recommended) = short, lower double sound (9)
"Low" = long, higher double sound (10)
"High" = short, higher triple sound (11)
g) Start Characteristics (12 + 13 + 14)
Hereyoucansetthestartingcharacteristicswhenmovingthetransmitter'scontrolleverfrom"motoroff"towards
"full throttle". This function is mostly relevant to protect gear drives as well as motor controlling via an on/off switch.
You have the following setting options: "very soft", "soft" and "normal". We recommend using the setting "normal" for
the "Wild Hawk" model.
"very soft" = triple sound sequence "DiDiDi" (12)
"soft" = reducing triple melody followed by a high sound (13)
"normal" = short, lower triple sound (14)
