10. Motor Commissioning
a) Commissioning the Remote Control
Intheoperatinginstructionsfortheightmodel,onlythecontrolelementsareillustratedintheguresoftheremote
control. They therefore serve illustration purposes only. The precise function of the remote control is explained in the
separately enclosed operating instructions.
b) Inserting and Connecting the Flight Battery
Figure8showsthepositionoftheightbattery(1),theplugsystem(2),themagnetsforthecabinholder(3),the
elevatorservo(4),therudderservo(5),theightcontroller(6)andthereceiver(7).
Afterremovingthecanopy,theightbatteryispushedintothefuselagefromthefrontandsecuredwiththeenclosed
hook-and-looptapeinthefrontareaofthefuselagetip.Theightbatterymustnotmoveinight.
Therequiredpositionoftheightbatteryisdeterminedbythecentreofgravity.
Figure 8 shows the rechargeable battery in the standing position. Depending on the size of the rechargeable
battery and the necessary position to reach the correct centre of gravity, it may be necessary to position the
rechargeable battery in the fuselage in the lying position to close the canopy.
