8. Chargeightbattery

Beforethenalassemblyofthemodel,youshouldchargetheightbattery(1).Asuitablemainsadapter(2)anda

suitablebalancercharger(3)areincludedinmodel'sscopeofdelivery.

The 2-wire connection cable at the rechargeable battery (4) supplies the drive motor with power. This cable is later

connectedtotheightcontrollerinthemodel(alsoseegure8).Thiscablemustnotbeconnectedtotheight

controller while charging.

The rechargeable battery is charged via the 4-pole connection cable (5), which is connected to the right output socket

of the balancer charger. The two snap tabs of the reverse-polarity protected connector must point upwards.

Connect the round plug (6) of the plug-in mains unit (2) to the corresponding socket of the balancer charger (3). Plug

the plug-in mains adapter into a proper mains socket of the public mains. The green power LED (7) in the plug-in

mains unit will then light up and so will the red LED (8) in the balancer charger.

Nowconnecttheightbattery(1)totherightsocket(5)ofthecharger.ThechargingLED(9)thenashesgreento

indicatethattheightbatteryisbeingcharged.

ChargingiscompletedwhenthechargingLED(9)atthechargerremainslit.Theightbatterycannowbediscon-

nected from the charger. Then disconnect the mains adapter from the mains socket.
