h) EPA Function for Steering
WiththeEPAfunction(EPA="EndPointAdjustment"),themaximumpermissibledeectionofthesteeringservoson
either side (from the neutral position to the left or right) can be determined.
Thisfunctionisusuallyusedtoprotecttheservomechanicsfrommechanicalimpactwithanobstacleatfulldeection.
This may lead to overloading of the servo gear, increased power intake and, as a result, overload of the electronics.
The manufacturer has already pre-set the optimal value. Therefore, you should not change the settings.
Proceed as follows:
• Switch on the transmitter. Wait until the display of the battery/rechargeable battery voltage appears and the trans-
mitter is ready for operation.
• Keep the two buttons " " and " " pushed at the same time for one second so that the setting menu is called. The
upper left display shows " ".
• Push the button " " or " "brieyrepeatedlyuntil" ST" is displayed.
• Movethesteeringwheel(3)tothelefttosetthenaldeectionofthesteeringservototheleft.Thedisplayshows
"L ".
• Change the setting with the button "-" or "+" (set value 0 - 150; keep the corresponding button pushed for quick
adjustment).
• Movethesteeringwheel(3)totherighttosetthenaldeectionofthesteeringservototheright.Thedisplay
shows " R".
• Change the setting with the button "-" or "+" (set value 0 - 150; keep the corresponding button pushed for quick
adjustment).
• If you do not push any buttons for 5 seconds, the setting is saved and the setting menu left.
