f) Gyro Sensitivity Setting „GYRO SEN“
So-called gyroscope (or gyro) systems are used in order to stabilise the tail of the helicopter in the air. If the tail turns
sidewaysasaresultofawindgustorotherexternalinuences,thisisrecognisedbythegyroandacorresponding
control command is sent to counter the turn.
Forgyrosystemsthatadditionallyhaveacontrollerinput,youcanswitchthesensitivityinightwiththetoggleswitch
„Gyro“whennecessary(seegure1,item2).
The model helicopter „HCP80 3D“ has acceleration sensors that can be activated in addition to the gyro function al-
ready mentioned. The acceleration sensors also work like the gyro sensors on the longitudinal, transverse and vertical
axesandclearlystabilisethepositioninhoveright.
Activatingtheaccelerationsensors,theightpropertiesofthehelicopterareidealfor3Daerobaticsoraggressive
ightmanoeuvres.Withactivatedaccelerationsensors,themodelhelicopter„HCP803D“willbehavesuitablefor
beginnersandhoverstablyinpositionwhileitdoesnotreceivecontrolcommandsintoaspecicdirection.
Whentherockerswitch„Gyro“(seegure1,item2)isinthefrontposition(position0),thegyrofunctionwithoutac-
celeration sensors is activated.
When the switch is in the rear position (position 1), the gyro function incl. acceleration sensors is activated.
For both switch positions, sensitivity of the gyro function can be set individually.
