c) Basic Trimming „SUB TRIM“
Often, the interlock at the servo sticks is very coarse, so that the required mechanical position of the servo stick cannot
be set without changing the trimming. The basic trimming permits setting the servo so that the position of the servo
stickiscorrectandthetrimmingdisplaystillstaysinthemiddleposition.Onlythenwillyoubeabletoperformne
trimminginbothdirectionsusingthetrimbuttonsduringight(seeg.1,item5,6,15and16).
Generally, the mechanics should always be set so that the trim
and the basic trim need to be moved from the centre position as
littleaspossibleforthemodeltoystraight.
Important!
Before setting the basic trim, check with the oper-
ating display whether the four trim displays are set
centrally.
To set the basic trim, proceed as follows:
• Call the function settings menu.
• Select the menu item „SUB TRIM“ with the buttons „UP“ or
„DOWN“.
• Activate the menu item with the button „SELECT“.
In the display you will see display items for the rst four
control functions with the respective currently set basic trim
values. The triangle pointing to the right shows the value that
can be set at the moment.
• Pushing the buttons „INC (+)“ or „DEC (-)“ sets the described
trim value for the roll servo. The setting is saved automati-
cally.
• Push the button „SELECT“ so that the triangle pointing to the
right will jump by one position and you can set the described
trim value for the nod servo to the left.
• Repeat the above procedure until the trim values of all six
control functions have been programmed.
• Push the button „CLEAR“ to get back into the overview of the
function setting menu.
