d) Verication of the Gyro Function
Movethecontrolstickforthepitchandtailfunctions(alsoseegure1,item14)tothebottompositionandswitchon
thetransmitter.Observethecorrectpositionofthetoggleswitchforthemotorofffunction(alsoseegure1,item17).
It must be in the rear position „1“ so that the drive motor of the helicopter cannot start up. The toggle switch for the
3D-setting(alsoseegure1,item4)mustbeinthefrontposition„0“forthis.
Connecttheightbatterytothehelicopterandwaituntilthegyrohascompletedinitialisation.Duringthistime,theLED
atthegyrowillashquicklyandthehelicoptermustnotbemovedorturned.Aftercompletionoftheinitialisation,the
stick of the tail servo moves to the centre position.
Setthedialswitchforthegyrosensitivitytoapprox.80%inthenormalmode.TheLEDatthegyrowillnotlightup.
If the tail is now pressed to the left manually, when looking from the top, the tail servo must perform a control move-
ment which would turn the tail back to the right. The turning movement of the lever at the tail servo must go in the same
directionasifthecontrolstickforthetailfunctiononthetransmitterisactuatedtotheleft(gure22A).
