b) Operating and Control Elements of the Gyro
Attention!
The gyro is already perfectly adjusted to the
„Beginner Falcon V2“ helicopter ex works, so
that no changes to the gyro need to be perfor-
med usually.
If this is not the case, the following setting op-
tions are available.
Setting controller for the path limitation of the tail servo „LIMIT“ (see gure 20, item 1)
Thiscontrollersetsthemaximumpossibledeectionofthetailservo.Forthis,deectthecontrolstickforthetailfunc-
tion fully to the side and set the controller to achieve the maximum control path. The servo must not be mechanically
limited or the linkage of the tail rotor must not run to the stop.
Setting controller for the path limitation of the tail servo „DELAY“ (see gure 20, item 2)
If you use a high-speed servo, you can leave the value set to 0. If you use a slower servo, the signal may need to be
corrected. If the model helicopter does not stop turning at once after a pirouette, increase the delay time at the setting
controller in small steps.
LED display for the respective operating conditions (see gure 20, item 3)
The gyro is equipped with an LED display that informs you about the current operating conditions of the system:
The LED will ash continually
quickly.
The gyro is in the initialisation phase right after activation.
The LED remains lit. The gyro is in AVCS mode.
The LED is not lit even though
the gyro is in operation.
The gyro is in normal mode.
The LED continually ashes
slowly
The gyro receives no control signal for the tail servo from the receiver. Either
the transmitter is not in operation, or the plug connection at the receiver is
incorrect.
TheLEDashes. The gyro whas been as switched on in normal mode, but could not properly
evaluate the data in the initialisation phase. To permit storing of the correct
neutral position of the rail servo in the gyro, switch the transmitter to the AVCS
mode and switch on the gyro again.
TheLEDashestwice rhythmi-
cally.
In AVCS mode, the input signal deviates from the stored neutral position. This

tail function is adjusted.
