6. Safety Information
The guarantee/warranty will expire if damage is incurred resulting from non-compliance with these
operating instructions. We do not assume any liability for consequential damage!
We do not assume any liability for property damage or personal injury caused by improper use or
non-compliance with the safety instructions! In such cases the warranty/guarantee is voided.
Normal wear and tear during operation (e.g. worn-out gears) are excluded from the guarantee and warranty;
the same applies for accidental damage (e.g. broken bearing retainer or rotor blades).
Dear Customer,
this safety information serves not only to protect the product, but also your own safety and the safety of other
persons. Therefore, read this chapter very carefully before taking the product into operation!
a) General Information
Caution, important note!
Operating the model may cause damage to property and/or individuals. Therefore, make sure that you are
sufcientlyinsuredwhenusingthemodel,e.g.bytakingoutprivateliabilityinsurance.
If you already have private liability insurance, verify whether or not operation of the model is covered by your
insurance before commissioning your model.
Note: In some countries you are required to have insurance for all model aircraft!
• Theunauthorisedconversionand/ormodicationoftheproductisprohibitedforsafetyandapprovalreasons(CE).
• Thisproductisnotatoyandnotsuitableforchildrenunder14yearsofage.
• Theproductmustnotbecomedamporwet.
• Ifyoudonothavesufcientknowledgeastohowtodealwithremote-controlledmodels,pleaseseektheadviceof
an experienced model maker or a model making club.
• Donotleavethepackagingmateriallyingaroundcarelesslyasitcanbecomeadangeroustoyforchildren.
• Shouldanyquestionsarisethatarenotansweredwiththehelpoftheseoperatinginstructions,contactourTechnical
Advisory Service (for contact information see chapter 1) or another expert.
The operation and handling of remote controlled model helicopters must be learned! If you have never stee-
red such a model, start especially carefully and get used to the reactions of the model to the remote control
commandsrst.Bepatient!
